Mandy Mossman is a Los Angeles and Maryland/DMV based SFX and beauty makeup artist known for her creativity, attention to detail, and passion for creating characters through makeup. With a background that began in special effects and monster-making, Mandy honed her craft at Cinema Makeup School, mastering techniques in beauty, hairstyling, and prosthetic application under top industry professionals.

 

With over a decade of self-taught experience and five years of professional work, Mandy has built an impressive portfolio across film and commercial projects. Her Makeup Department Head credits include Violent Ends (2025), Trigger Happy (2025) and The Send Off (2022) with additional makeup artists credits for Wolf Man (2025), Insidious: The Red Door (2023), and M3GAN (2022). She has collaborated with notable talents such as Patrick Wilson, Alexandra Shipp, and Leigh Whannell and worked with brands like Revlon, Uniqlo, and Primally Pure Skincare.
